We are pleased to be able to offer our patients CEREC top quality restorations in one visit. This superior method of creating precisely-designed, color matched, and highly durable ceramic restorations will deliver the results you need in a single appointment. The preparation for the tooth is similar to most treatment methods. The prepared tooth is coated with a safe, tasteless powder and then we use a state-of-the –art digital 3D camera to create an optical impression.

Using state-of-the-art CAD software allows Dr. Chester to design a very precise detail of your restoration. The software allows Dr. Chester to customize the shape of the restoration to exactly fit your specific tooth. The digital image is then sent to our on-site milling machine to create your restoration. In approximately 30 minutes, your all ceramic, color-matched restoration is ready for placement. It is then fitted, polished and bonded for permanence. Your tooth is then restored back to its natural form, function, and beauty.

Digital X-Rays / Radiographs
With digital radiographs, film is replaced with a flat electronic pad or sensor. The X-rays hit the pad the same way they hit the film. This technology reduces X-Ray exposures by 3 to 10 times compared to conventional X-Ray film. Also, the images are rapidly processed and stored using a computer without the environmental problems associated with photographic darkroom chemistry. One of the main advantages Patient can see with digital radiography is the ability to for the images to be quickly displayed at the dental chair for viewing and discussion with them. In short, radiographs can now play an important role in doctor/patient co-diagnosis.

Diagnodent
Prevention instead of treatment. Patients are becoming increasingly health conscious and are taking more trouble to preserve their healthy tooth substance. In other words, the dentist is required to detect the smallest defects. The better and earlier the diagnosis, the better therapy may be planned. If interventions are necessary, then as far as possible only minimally invasive intervention with tooth-colored fillings are required.
